The club is managing expectations down to such an extent we are sat here discussing the positives of drawing a must win game. A few seasons and we will be happy losing these must win games.
There’s no light at the end of the tunnel with these owners they can all **** off for me.

I wonder if we don’t go up, next season will he do it the way suggested in the first place?

How on earth are the club doing that.

Seriously, you're suggesting there's a cohesive, targeted plan to avoid promotion for some kind of gain for the owners. Not being rude mate but that's absolutely ludicrous, what would be the point?

Are the owners of Oxford, Portsmouth, Ipswich, Wycombe, etc, complicit in this conspiracy.

Just home and a game very similar to Charlton away. Score one win comfortably. Robert’s is different gravy mind skilful fast and picks a pass very well. Will be a big bonus for us for the rest of the run in. They offered very little but what a cracking save from Patterson near the end or it could of been worse. It’s frustrating because we played well and could/should have won comfortably. Someone is going to get a hammering very soon I think. It’s nip and tuck but I’m more than convinced we will make the play offs. Good day out with my son and some good friends from the south. Keep the faith lads and lasses. Bit of a break to get some key players fit.

It’s called a Donald ownership group, do as little and spend as little as possible on prospects, long shots and speculative punts. Hopefully it will work but if not start again in close season. We can’t continue major rebuilds every summer. This group are not learning and are continuing on this path. Each season we weaken further - league position seems to support this observation.
And of course they are not avoiding promotion but they are, by making the decisions they make, turning us into a fully fledged, run of the mill league 1 club.
Hence by these repeated actions they are lowering the fans expectations. See enough dross it becomes the norm and you stop complaining so much. Maybe being moderately happy with one performance in three in L1 is what we should be content with now? Is that the new level?
The owners will keep doing this as long as the fans keep turning up and paying through the nose to watch this ****.
We are floundering to 7th or 8th and will miss the playoffs, no doubt there will be many positives to draw from this, the main one will be that we can bring in another 12 speculative punts and loaned kids for another more difficult campaign next year.
I am sick of the general acceptance of failure, the stench around the club is generally rotten and I don’t see this new owner doing much to arrest our decline. He failed to act adequately in January, to bring enough bodies in that could save the season, we ended the window no further forward and in some ways worse off. Still relying on kids whose confidence was shot to **** when we should have been reinforcing in those areas to take that pressure off them. Doyle had the look of Thomas Butler before he was dropped, he looked absolutely lost.

Something needs to change and quickly we cannot keep doing the same things and expecting a different outcome.

We are still in with a chance of the play offs.

I win yesterday would have increased the probability of being in the play offs, the draw decreased the probability.

Just got to keep on winning and until arithmetically we are out, there us always a chance we are in!

He's still here, a "billionaire" isn't putting up £11 million to take real control and rid us of them once and for all.

Why would that be? Does he need to have his hand held by two of the most useless chancers in football?

I guess we will never really know given the lack of transparency around the ownership of the club.

I agree there mate, but I still find it rather strange, it’s like me giving you a tenner and then having total control of the business we run? Also whatever the plan is it’s not bloody working when you consider the fan base and the quality of our set up.

Well yes she probably could but that's not how business works. I'd rather the chuckle brothers left with no profit from our club don't wish a loss on them but definitely no profit.

Putting it another way say KLD finally gets the club for an additional £7M then it's an extra £4M to invest in the team.
    Win win

You say that but all I wish for is transparency and a committed owner who has the best interests of the club at heart. I still see little evidence that is what we actually have over 12 months since he galloped into town on his steed to save us.
even so it’s a weeks pocket money from his mam. He could just have a tantrum until she gives in.

I just look at it different to you, if I was buying a house and at the last minute they said they wanted another 5,000 I would say here you go now piss off, I still have absolutely wads of money left to spend on the house because I am stinking filthy rich. ( if I was KLD of course)<ok>
