Eaves - tireless KLP - real threat in first half, faded in second after some rough house treatment Ingram
KLP - lovely Cruyff turn and other stuff befitting an England international. Eaves - looks such a much better player than a few months ago. Honeyman - not his most influential game by any means, but kept trying to create stuff.
Plus honey man was the only one who actually clattered the big front man for them while Alfie wAlfie gave the impression of been his boyfriend most of the game
KLP - for his first half performance.. they really couldn't handle him.but found a way to stop him. Eaves - despite those criticising him, he put a shift in and got his deserved goal, you can see in this squad how much we do miss him when we play Forss up there .. he isn't gonna be everyone's cup of tea but he is an honest pro who gives all he has got within the limitations of his skill set. Honeyman - despite not having his best game he was still head and shoulders above many yesterday. Longman, Doc and our fidgety back 3 need to give their heads a shake, you have to concentrate for 90+ minutes. As for the Thudd conundrum, we say the pros and cons with him yesterday, the foresight to see the pass which brought our goal, and the lack of legs that causes him to give silly fouls away leading to their 3rd. I'm in the give him a coaching job camp I'm afraid.
KLP I don't want to be too harsh but I can't name a definite 2nd or 3rd place. Elder...? Eaves for the goal perhaps? Smallwood because he works hard, perhaps? I like the Doc, but at the moment and to my mind Smallwood seems to play better, or should I say, seems more comfortable when Slater is there. I feel really gutted after watching that. Regardless, onwards and upwards ... UTT
