I'm sure we will be up for it for the reasons you mention, but there might also be an element of fear. Desperation not to disappoint at home again, which sometimes leads to a nervy side who can't settle. As always the first goal will be huge.
A mate just asked if I wanted to go to the KR v fc derby Obviously not But it’s on good Friday and we’re playing same day There’s going to be a lot of pissed up people around Recipe for disaster
Here early come on City let's have a great afternoon and a relaxed comfortable afternoon in the sunshine. Btw Barnsley losing so far is great.
Slater must have a knock, but we know Doc isn't playing well. I'd like to have seen Walsh in there. He's literally had one chance against Derby and we've not really seen him since. Doc has put in poor performances most the year and he's still getting picked. Walsh in the deeper role alongside Smallwood makes sense as he can get his foot on the ball and dictate the play. That's what we're desperate for in midfield
If he has a knock why is he on the bench. We seem to play Doc at home and we lose then play Slater away and win. I did say seems, before someone corrects me. Does not give me a lot of confidence in Shotas decision making. Agree with your comment re someone needed to dictate play.
Think Barnsley came to squeeze us up so we can’t play out and it worked for them . Anything could happen today
