Yes, and they will, but FFP changed the picture. They can invest to a point that sees them wracking up losses of £103m on a 3 yr cycle. They’ll obvs try and bolster income beyond market rates e.g. shirt sponsorship, ground naming, to offset some of the increased spending, but they can’t do what Roman & City did before domestic FFP and just do as they like.

Everton have a really difficult run of games every team barring Leicester have something to play for and they play them twice, home to Brentford, 7 points from those should be enough though, Burnley away will be a massive game for both teams. Think we need 6 pts now, 8 to be certain.
