Who would people like the safc manager to get in jan ? (i say the safc manager as we dont know how things will pan out atm)

Onouha to help with defensive issues
Pav/Papiss Cisse to help with goal scoring

    Left winger ?
Mort Gamst Pedersen would be a good addition in my view
    Or
Salomon Kalou as he is out of contract in the summer and therefore could get him on the cheap

    Left back ?
    ????

Who would people want? Players wise!

Hope this doesnt sound like a conspiracy theory but was this not the guy who had agreed last summer to come here but because of our annual slump ES would not sanction the deal. has this changed, if so why? All paper talk, will he come here if we do not improve our league position before xmas.
Think he would be a superb signing especially if we can keep bendy.

    Cisse would be very nice.

I would like Onouha back, but if that's not an option we should splash out for Samba.

I am not sure we are desperate for a LW anymore. I think we all think Sess and Larsson should be in the starting 11, if we buy a winger and were playing 2 up front then one of them would have to be dropped. McClean looks a good prospect and Elmo is also good cover, what we need is a striker so Sess can play on the wing.

CB and Striker should be the priority.

I think we have to be realistic because we wont have unlimited funds so cant buy all we would like. A striker is a no brainer and if the story is correct about having to move Gyan before signing DPC it could be on now he is half gone, I hope so. A top class striker will go a long, long way to rebuilding faith, a run of the mill striker will heap more pressure on Bruce.

If Bramble is out after his meeting then Ned again would seem a no brainer, we know him, he knows us and he can play RB or CB.

I'm happy with Richardson and Bardo for LB and dont see LW the priority it was.

So DBC and Ned would make me very happy.

    For me it is simple:

    - Sign Bendtner
    - Sign Onohua and move O'Shea into the centre with Brown
    - Sign another striker depending on how Wickham / Ji are settling in. I have a feeling though these 2 and Bendtner will be ok until Christmas and then we have Campbell coming back, so we could wait until the Summer before getting rid of Gyan and cashing in properly for an established high quality striker
