Great thread as usual RTB. I think this will be a difficult one for us - I do think that if he gets the midfield right we will win. Matete and o9 all day long. We need pace up top as well Ill go for a 2-1 win to us Hawaaaaay
Lincoln City have won their appeal against the red card shown to defender Brooke Norton-Cuffy in Saturday's 2-0 League One win at AFC Wimbledon. The Arsenal loanee, 18, was sent off for violent conduct following an off-the-ball incident with Lee Brown. If unsuccessful, Norton-Cuffy's three-match ban would have been upheld. Instead, he will now be available for Saturday's home match with Sunderland
If we stop hoof balling it to him, and got the ball to his feet or into areas he can run onto it, I'm sure he'll get goals.
Just gonna jump in on the Defoe topic. Not finished yet. He needs a bit of sharpness - and a bit of service. Please don't tell me that that fat c*** from Wycombe, Adebalyo Akinfemba, or something, is useful fir them and JD is not for us!!! He will score the winner in the play off final - mark my words
You haven't a clue son. You are not working at the club.... You are not a health expert... I told you that I would accept it if he could also be an impact sub too. ...it also shows that the sytem that AN is employing, is without a Defoe tactic... ....and that is fine by me. However, if Defoe does make an impact, do you you want me to rattle your cage? ....or will you still slag him off? Other than that, have a good day.
Hey Arnhem I expect, that like me, you hail from 5 AB Bde, and more likely than from either maroon, blue, or green. 1,2 or 3. Chill man! JD can do a job and if you remember that P Coy staff did ya down but then picked you back up when you were about to fall off the log? we need to do the same with our players. Utrinque Paratus and Ad Unum Omnes. The second motto more apt than the first eh?
Show me one comment where I've slagged Defoe or even put him down and I'll have this conversation with you about it. I'm just telling this apparent coach that he was wrong with his claims that Defoe would be match sharp and match fit when he hadn't played for so long. He got rude about it and that's the only reason I'm reminding him that he was wrong. He hasn't got a clue and has clearly never played the game.
