Martinelli was excellent out there today. Shame he plays for the wrong team.

    Never in doubt.

Apart from most of the first half.

Not gonna moan about any performances. Everyone can have an off day. Jota had one but scored a crucial goal.

difference now is we can bring on Salah and Bobby and not weaken the side one bit. That’s what this squad is all about.

Despite the absolutely love of arsenals performance in the first half, we held them at arms width and had the better chances.

Second half, we got that goal and they crumbled. They couldn’t keep up the pressing, and we just upped the tempo slightly and cruise controlled home.

Think we were all pissed with the first half performance but that was a very very controlled 90 minutes of football.

Arsenal had 1 chance from Thiago pass back.

Meh game was done by then anyway, but would have been some finish to score from there. Sure Ali would have saved had it been on target

    Decent performance.

I think credit to arsenal. They have improved but have all the energy of playing far less games as well.

    Imo squad wins this.

They know they are in this big time and the extra bit of effort counts.

    Alisson. Exceptional.
    Thiago sloppy.
Bobby cones on and is desperate to stake a claim.

But I said this pregame. The sky hobshites were bigging up ramsdske at ht for what I think was a very average save off vdd from a long distance.

Ramsdale should be shot for letting that jota shot in at near post.

They then bigger him up at the end again about this top young keeper. How DARE they compare that bag of piss with alisson. The English player disease again.

    2-0 and arsenal fold. Lovely.

    Big big win this.

    8 games from glory.
