It is difficult to say whether or not Krul got the ball from the ****e highlights provided by the BBC. Although it looks as though he did get the ball and that it was never a penalty. However we could have had a penalty seconds earlier and I have heard some people say that the foul by Samba on Ba wasn't a penalty but I just stumbled across this picture on the BBC website.

    http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/15470522.stm

Image 14 if it starts from the start.

Now when you look at the highlights on this website and pause it on 01:51...

You can see that the picture is definitely from the penalty shout and was a definite penalty. He is practically being manhandled. On top of that it was last man and Samba would have been sent off.

    Cheers ref, you cheating bastard!

Sorry that picture hasn't worked. Go to the BBC football website and halfway down the page click on wednesday's football photos and it is number 14.

Good spot. Plus I'm convinced Krul got to the ball first when their penna was given.

Yeah, I guess there's not much to add. On first viewing, I wasn't convinced that we deserved a penalty for Samba on Ba, and thought that Krul maybe did foul him. The fact that the BBC didn't show any replays or alternate angles didn't help.

The picture clearly shows Ba getting dragged down though, and if you pause the video when Krul rushes out, you can see he gets there first and is actually fouled by the Blackburn player. So a definite double kick in the stones.

Immensely proud of the comeback nonetheless, but when the defending in the last minute for the 4th Blackburn goal is so poor, it's hard to feel we deserved to go through.

I think your spot on, even from the highlights it looks as though Krul's definately got ball.

That picture's clear as day as well. Of course the refs have a hard job to do and all that bollocks....

Another thing I 'like' about the BBC is the fact that under the picture it says about him being fouled for the free kick for Cabaye's goal. However it was Lovenkrands that was fouled for the free kick. Well done BBC.
