He's a lovely lad but he is getting his chances due to A) squad being good enough B) cl won early (played last two to rest others) C) very favourable fa cup and league cup draws. So things have gone better for him and he's worked hard for it too. But..... On no day from now til eternity is he a player for lfc first team in a big game. That imo is the measure. Jota walks in and people were saying on this very site that nobody would compete with mane firmino and salah and I for one was desperate to see more forward power and delighted when he proved the fee worth it even if he was a shock to be that option. Diaz walks in and he is instantly great. Minime with respect I couldn't give a **** what he cost, I know looking at a player if they are there to compete or another one of these signings that's just never yielding much.
Salah is clearly a big step below Messi and Ronaldo (maybe not this season's form but in general) like everyone else on the planet but does he believe that?
