This Sunday 30th October 2011, the draw for the first round proper of the FA Cup is made.

Apart from the League, this is one of the few competitions I have any time for, it's traditional and allows non league clubs to be placed with a bit of luck up against league opposition.

Who do you fancy to be drawn against in the first round?

Charlton at home for me. Always enjoy Charlton games. Fond memories of our 3-2 victory in the cup at home a few years back.

Or the winner of the Dartford-Bromley game (preferably Dartford) at home. Keep it Kentish, good atmosphere!

What's with Bradford? Is there something I am not aware of between your club and them?

Just not Northwich Victoria. How Parky survived the sack after that debacle I will never know. I wasted £200 on that weekend and am still awaiting the compensation.

If we get one of the smallest clubs, away, we should be live on the TV.

I hate the home matches in the Cup. Our attendances are poor and the atmosphere is dreadful.

Last season, away at Barnet, I watched the most inept attacking performance from a Charlton side ever. Benson and Abbott - oh my word!

Sorry lads- like most cups, I don't have time for it. Just want us to focus solely on getting out of league one. I also think "magic of the cup" term has lost, well it's magic. If Van Persie scores a 30 yard rocket they will use it, if man city beat man utd, they will use it.

    Can't stand it.

SC, I'm with you on this - a massive distraction from the main business at hand.
