Warburton wasn't far behind "We controlled the match"!! Maybe he was just winding up Jones, who is an absolute tool.

What a rollercoaster- as witnessed by the changing posts on here! I agree we were not very good going forward, but we did stop them playing their game in the second half and that gave us a chance. Don’t normally watch the pre-match blurb but caught ten minutes of it today and Luton hadn’t lost at home since November, had hardly dropped a point at home since Christmas and won 4 of the last 6. So we did OK!

Not able to follow the match live today, so got updates and just sat and read through this thread. Certainly a thread of two halves...with some who, in all fairness, have stuck to their anti-Warburton stance despite the win.

Sometimes the football has been ugly, and we've rode our luck, but all that really matters is the table...and we are fourth!

I made that joke when they appointed him, Sooper.

All that really matters now are the next two games this week - plenty of opportunity for the doom mongers to work themselves up again - after all it's only Forest away and then Posh at home. Like any team we have howlers from time to time but:

1 Who assembled this team? and
2 Who frankly could have done better and would have wanted to do so within the constraints the Club is under and the salary being offered?

It may come as a huge shock to some but others have also seen the gloss come off their slick well oiled promotion machines in the last few weeks. Other contenders have also come unstuck when playing Barnsley and Millwall.

Get real guys. It's more than we could possibly have dreamed of. The chance to be in the mix in the final few games of the season as opposed to the annual climb away from the trap door

Well we were better going forward but not defensively, but we had to change it being the goal down. Think Gray did better than Austin too. If Albert and Willock are both fit enough I'd start them, rest Wallace and play Moses at LWB, rest Chair perhaps and play Willock who looked ok fitness wise the short time he was on.

Is that an open invitation to find a suitable word to replace the 'etc'?

Thank you kindly, I'll accept. "Pot kettle, TWAT"

    Brilliant.
My lad said Marc Bircham was in the crowd and filmed that.

Field was our best player imo, probably followed by Gray.

Missed the game and just finished reading through the thread. Well boys … what a change in most of the posts after our second goal … :emoticon-0102-bigsm … all I can say is …
“Mark Warburton’s blue and white army…”
“There’s only one Rob Dickie …”

Great result for us however it came. Back to fourth. Mojo found for now. Great win (would have been more if we’d played it yesterday :emoticon-0102-bigsm :emoticon-0105-wink: ).

Willock showed when he came on that he is a class above the rest. Didn’t do anything spectacular but very comfortable on the ball and did a very good job holding the ball and keeping possession.

Doesn’t bring anything extra to Amos. Strange signing.
