I hate the hype of some of the marketing. When all is said and done, this is just grown up go karting!
I couldn’t be arsed with watching all episodes, so went straight to the final episode as that was the only one that mattered and Horner comes out with this classic line ‘My job is to push hard as I can for this team and when I look back over the season nothing has gone our way’
If you like your food, Marcus Wareing had a show this week in BBC and I believe on Thursday he visited F1 Champion Jody Scheckter at his Laverstoke Park Farm in Hampshire and talked about composting. He’s an organic farming expert apparently.
Just started watching it. And I'm not going to to lie. This first episode has mostly made my blood boil. The way this is set up to be the giant slaying by RBR, backed up by a load of liberty and rich people willing it, and the absolute failure to acknowledge that regs we're changes to slow the Merc down is bullshit. If anything, with the rules changes, the failure to penalize Max for driving like a moron, the finale, the head of the F1, and some very rich people willing the downfall of Merc, I am now convinced the entire thing was fixed... I'm fuming.
The final episode is of course Abu Dhabi, and we all know what happened there. I’ve just watched it, and I didn’t realise( forgotten ) that both Lewis And Max still had the back markers making there way around the track and had to overtake them during the final lap. I thought they were well clear at after overtaking the safety car.Just for that stupidity alone Masi deserved the sack.
Must admit the opening scenes didn't start well with Horner jogging!!! Wait till you see him horse riding!!!! Can't really believe that they are using Horner as Max wouldn't take part! Some of the images are really nice but as for story telling is very iffy to say the least. I will have to watch to the end though!
Already saw that. Not quite sure why we need to bring Geri in to each one in some cringe fest of scene. The awkward staged, scripted nature of it is awful. Gimme some Gunther or Zak... At least they're genuine.
Must admit I like it for Steiner , but yes I agree it’s very very annoying / biased for the most part . And by biased I mean from the word go it’s all about RBR v Merc I agree Zak Brown seems a genuine bloke .
