Connections are confident that Monbeg Park will take care of the DeBromhead fave in the Gowran bumper tomorrow. The horse is highly regarded and is one to put into your little black notebook of horse racing.

Price isn't much use to the man in the street but hey ho.

All the best to anyone having a punt.

There's a big gamble going on the Thomson horses running at Ayr, tomorrow.

Henry's horse taken out so Monbeg gone long odds on in the event now so no betting prospect bow unless you've already got on last night.

    Sandown
14,25 Grisbi De Berce 25/1 e/w sky seven places, others five and six, WH 22/1 seven places

    Hereford
    17,21 Braganza Bay 6/1 bet365, others 9/2

Nocte Volatus runs again today (too soon?) in the last one at Sandown. The odds are too poor (2/1 WH and sky) to bet him but if he jumps like last Sunday he could repeat.

The Imperial Cup (14:25 Sandown) is always something of a lottery, and this year maybe even more so? So, I'll be greedy and take a couple who I hope will at least run well. Both are up against it as, on my current form, I have no doubt put a dreaded curse on both of them! :emoticon-0101-sadsm.

Zambezi Fix (40/1 in a couple of places <whistle>)
Mr Grey Sky (20/1 generally the best price)
    (of course, both e/w!)

Have a good day everyone! :emoticon-0167-beer: :bandit:

I liked her chances too but that was too bad to be true. Never involved at any stage.

Yes, ominous sign as you say, Stick. Only Irish runner in the race and ridden by a Welsh jockey! If the English trainers perform as badly as they did last year, think I'll switch to watching movies. Well, maybe!
