They will probably finish above us given how the form is going Amazing how we got good results against teams above us in the table and then have played very badly against some those below us
Two good goals from Newcastle, disappointing to lose to them after how the game was postponed. A little sloppy in defence but not terrible. However, Broja's form is what is concerning as when he is scoring we win.
Ugh. Football, eh? It wasn't our best, we know that. It was actually a pretty poor second half all told, but fine margins - Che's one that hit the bar, the Salisu header etc etc. I'm going to go a different way on this one though and give massive credit to the job Howe has done at Newcastle. I've never really been a big fan of his, but he's really got them toughened up, organised, resilient in a short space of time. Fair play to him. They also have learned to ****house with the very best of them too. Bruno is going to be some player for them when he gets to PL pace as well. Bugger it. Let's get our mojo back against Watford and move on.
Just waiting for Tom to come on here and have a cry. One of those games, neither team deserved the win, but one bit of luck/skill or one bit of bad luck swings it. At least we can put this annoying little feud to bed now. We couldn't beat them without their two most dangerous players on the pitch, so let's just move on. The bigger picture, is that we're safe, and that we're playing well. We likely won't sell anyone in the summer, and with a couple new signings we can look forward to a good season next.
We were Headless chickens for a lot of this game. KWP was great again though. We were always going to have another dip but hopefully not for too long. Lack of creative depth is a problem that needs sorting in the summer.
