Fully deserved and I'm laughing at the club, the owner, the PL, the lot of them. Someone will no doubt say, 'Yes but it's the fans who'll suffer ... ... bollocks to them, they didn't care when Bury collapsed and died. No doubt Amanda Staveley will be on soon, weeping for poor Roman
Pity it's taken a war to bring one of these 'big' clubs to book. Time football stepped back and took a hard look at themselves, cos if they looked in a mirror they'd see lots of greedy bastards staring back at them. I know it's probably exceptional circumstances 're Chelsea but I bet there's a lot of skeletons in the cupboard of other rich club owners.
It looks like they will be playing in an empty ground next season. The sanctions appear to prevent the sale of tickets.
If anyone notices the Russian below mentioned would they mind letting me know, cheers Andrey Melnichenko https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Andrey_Melnichenko_(industrialist) He's the 7fh richest Russian and has a huge stately home in England, Harewood Estate, other properties and a vast estate in the South of France. He has a huge apartment in New York, Central Park. They should've been after him by now.
I wonder if the stadium's refreshments outlets will be closed - or if these are sub-contracted and can still trade?
Good, might have been a minority but they sang his name during during the support for Ukraine message!
I would have thought closed regardless. They will pay a rent to the club in order to operate even if contracted out which would be a no go now?
