Morning all. So 1-0 loss despite having a shed load of corners. We know Pugh was at fault in part for failing to track back. C'est La Vie. These things happen. B/Ham are moving ominously up the league. Were they worth their win, or were we just unlucky? Thoughts & comments please. Team for Sunday. Any changes?
Aye up Boggers, Not sure how fit Snodds was. Bucks, can you join morning threads together, both sent at 9.37
http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11668/7268274/Chelsea-wait-on-stadium-vote Mr Abramovich is a ****. Chelsea are ****s. But Ken Bates is the biggest sneakiest most ****ing pointless **** of them all. Morning by the way
Cheers Elland. I was just about to ask the same. Snods must have been reasonably fit to have started. But I hope he hasn't agravated anything. He'll have an extra day's rest, as we don't play until Sunday. But after last night, we will definitely need 3pts on Sunday.
Morning Jud. Can't help but take an opposing view. Whatever else you may think of KB, helping the supporters to ensure chelsea are able to stay at the Bridge seems fair enough to me. How would we feel if we'd done the same thing years ago & someone came in & wanted to move us out of Leeds & into a bigger stadium away from our natural fanbase?
Listened to the match,so stayed up late, resulting in red eye. Again Howson went missing, Ross Mc seems to have gone off the boil, Nunez signs a 4yr deal then told your not on the bench, what the F is going off, if we get it wrong on sunday we shall never shut that lot up, someone who put a good performance in was the loyal fans....again. listened to LUTV and....ya naw Eddie was a ledgend in his playing days, but talks nonsence at times and is doing my head in...ya naw. Morning all by the way, pardon my manners....ya naw.....lol
Never thought I'd agree with Boggers, but the ****ers dont fill the ground now so why get them a bigger stadium? its all bollocks. Keep Stamford Bridge for Chelsea. Simples.
Morning all! I think a draw was always going to be the best we'd get there. However, at the moment we're a team destined for the play-offs. We've got great options up top and the defence is getting there (still think we need one more centre back). What's the thinking on our midfield though? First choice 4 are good and work well with the full backs too but outside of that, really not convinced by Sam, Nunez or Mika yet.
hes no reason to be involved anymore the dodgy old bastard...surley him being part of that makes it a conflict of interest?
Agree with Boggers Pags? You know it makes sense!! Fair point Jud. But the conflict of interest might only become an issue when we get to the PL, & then it would depend on his financial status in the stadium.
You donât always talk sense though. but for once I do agree with you in that they should stay at the bridge. Jud, you are right will there be a conflict of interest? Is he still involved though? I know it said he put a lot of money into it. But this also brings up when I mentioned ages ago about them wanting to by back the bridge and the penthouse apartments on the village and Bates owning them and not selling⦠so maybe there is some truth in that.
Afternoon all! Just a tip Boggers, it's best to post a thread on the Leeds board first and then on other boards like the Championship as the secondary option. That means we can merge and moderate them rather than having to get the admin team to do it.
The Championship board was the first one you chose - tried to merge ellandback's MA thread into this one and it wouldn't let me. By the way, regarding your question of "How would we feel if we'd done the same thing years ago & someone came in & wanted to move us out of Leeds & into a bigger stadium away from our natural fanbase?" Didn't Ridsdale try to do exactly that and get 80+% support?
Thats why I couldnt merge it! Afternoon all Yesterday I thought we played really well & if we play like that against Cardiff we will stuff them. But when do we ever play like that against Cardiff?
