Never heard it before from any toon fans and have to say I was gutted; thought we were better than that.

I'm sure a lot of people don't see it as an issue but I can't stand it. Those sat in and around s02 row 17 you know who you are. Go **** off and support another club you racist bastards you are an embarrassment to what was another fantastic showing from our away support.

 

You get that at every team tbf. It pathetic and people should report them

 

Did the stewards pick up on it? If so they should've been some kind of action taken. Of course there wont have been.

 

There is always a small minority at football grounds. We are streets ahead of most of mainland Europe. I guess some guys are just dicks!

 

Should have brought it to the attention of a steward, it's completely out of order and we all get tarred with the same brush.

Keep racism out of football!

 

Get them out immediatley! sort of thing where the minority can tarnish the majority of the fans reputation..No place for it in football or society!

It doesn't even strike me as much ****ish as it does unbelievably idiotic. How anybody can be racist in the intelligent age we live in now is one thing for a wonder, but then how anybody can pay money & travel to cheer on their own racially diverse team and then be racist is just beyond all contemplation of stupidity. I've never experienced it myself in 18 years of going but that's a couple of reports of it I've heard this season alone. Very worrying. Were there any signs of them being affiliated to the EDL or anything? We don't want those morons creeping back in.

 

Just poor if thats the case. Why oh why some are still living in the dark ages I'll never know. Are we talking a couple here and a big group? Maybe it should be reported but the stewards should have just alerted the police. There must have been at least one heard it if you did. I'm starting to lose faith in some of our fans. Its only a minority but being a football fan is not what it used to be, some seem to be regressing! If its not abusing former players for no good reason, its protesters, or its racism, or its invading the pitch, or singing crass songs. What is it with these people. I love that we have such a hardcore following its just a shame that the few are tarnishing our image for the many.

To be honest I don't even consider them supporters. Its the same numpties who get on the players backs when they're out of form etc. They're not there for the football and don't even understand it properly.

Can someone please tell me who was being abused last night?????? Is the chanting being directed at ALL black players or were individual players being abused?

We've all been in pubs when Shola has been shocking and someone pipes up " the useless black ( insert your own word)"..........or is it banana stuff against all black players on the pitch? I've not been to away matches so don't appreciate what exactly happened.

 

Hateful buggers. I agree Skalpel but alot of morons still seem to be stuck in the Stone Age. Our team spirit is strong. What if Ba or Tiote (i know he wasnt playing, just an example) heard him. From your own fans. It would make you wonder. You should report it to the FSF dude, they can usually look into things like this. Regardless if they can do anything, it still looks good that one of our own called the shots to let them know about it.

 

Like skalpel says it always bemuses me how 'fans' can be racist when they've paid time and money to cheer on a team whos best players are black. I wonder if they cheered when Tiote equalised in the 4-4?
