Suggestions in the media Putin's suffering from terminal bowel cancer - completely unsubstantiated and from ****house rags to say the least but Joelinton help us all if he's on the way out, guy is a few can's short of a 6 pack and the last thing we need him not worrying about is death...
I just hope that the security services of the West are trying to deal with the issue discreetly and quietly in the background.
if true this is a worry as he will have nothing to lose as he tries to grab a place in the history books.

Abramovic now sanctioned. Special licence applies to Chelsea to allow them to pay staff, allow fans to attend games and allow the club to fulfil its fixtures. Think that's the sale now on hold however.
Yes and they cannot sell any more tickets so only season ticket holders allowed into games and supporters who have already purchased tickets.... Club shop shut and not allowed to sell merchandise.....
I think that is bad bad news for Chelsea. Players out of contract will be leaving this summer and moving on to less contentious contrracts, others may have to be sold to prevent big losses next season, their loan crop will be offered out. Tickets and merch sales stopped... Jesus!
This is stupid. Not only punishing Oligarchs but also Russians in general and now also people from all over, just to hurt Putin.
It's a stupid decision.
It's the only alternative to all out war. The idea is that it is only those inside Russia, particularly those with influence and power, who can remove Putin and stop him.
I think they should allow the club shop to sell merchandise and tickets and then government just use that money to fund humanitarian aid to Ukraine.
Think the saying "play silly games win stupid prizes" is apt at this point. As much as I feel for the average Russian going about their day to day business, their country is bombing hospitals and maternity wards, cutting off evacuation routes, killing children and trying to seize a country under completely false pretenses so my sympathy is limited.
I understand they are being fed lies by the government but its the only way to get them to understand what's going on while the media narrative is being dictated by a bunch of crooks. If the 144m people in Russia are pissed off with Putin and oust him this is over - I can't see them being happy they can't do anything because of their war, even if they believe it is morally correct - soon they will be thinking - "**** it it's Ukraine, why are we bothered, just get our people out and leave them alone if the rest of the world are so pissed about it, I just want my happy meal".

That's how war works. The general populace get punished based on the actions of their leaders. This is no different. Ukrainians in general are dieing because their country has been invaded by Russia.
The fact that the world is a global market place means that people all over are hurt by sanctions. Embargoes on Russian oil and gas will create a supply shortage which will force energy prices up.
Its not stupid though. It's a weapon we have that we can use against them so we should use it.
Its just an added advantage that it happens to be Chelsea.
