Can't stand the bloke after the racist **** he chatted about London but would not wish to be in his situation. Must be very stressful.
He may chat a lot of **** now, but he won some trophies during his time with us. Back-to-back FA Cups alongside Steve Archibald and a UEFA Cup, though he didn't play in the final. Archibald went on to Barca and won La Liga, while Crooks kind of fizzled out, for some reason.
He was a great striker and the two together were an amazing partnership. He scored some great goals but I always remember this bullet header he scored in a battering of Wolves back in the day!
