I know I will be in the minority but that felt comfy to me We had gears to spare they were operating full tilt far more importantly to me that stupid undefeated stuff can stop now So for me almost perfect night

That ref lost it the further the game went,too many wrong calls. Deserved a draw at least,good game though.
Good that we are through, but if our finishing had been better we could have had 5. Sanchez deserved to go off for his first yellow so justice served in the end. Ref was poor overall though.
Yup. Said at HT and after they scored. They hadn’t threatened. Was exactly same in the first leg. Everyone saging how they got down the line out wide and were dangerous but then never had a shot on target first leg and did nothing today bar score a wooden that 9/10 goes miles over.
Not a great performance, but we're through. Very lethargic, and sloppy passing - but we did harass the woodwork a bit and on another day a couple of those would go in. For all of Inter's menace, they didn't make many clear opportunities. Once again the commentators declare it's bad defending when we let them get through on goal, even though they've been played offside.
Felt the same, never thought we where in bother. Apparently they had 6 shots, but I can't recall 5 of them. They where at their very best, running their hearts out, we were quite happy to control the match. Come the run in when the players are starting to blow, games like this are imperative. Yes the full tilt football is a great watch but can only be played for so long. Win the game move on, no drama.
Felt like it wouldn’t be our night and there’d be some bullshit equaliser at the death, but all in all it was an average performance, we were unlucky and they didn’t really do much at all. Full of energy and it made for a very competitive game so fair play to them, on to the next one

Strange game but we are through all that is all that matters . Still trying to process how we didn't score and even more confusing is what sport does Antonio Mateu Lahoz normally referee / umpire / judge . Thought Jones was good today but as a team we never had full control of the game though we kept them at arms length apart from the goal but even then it was a shot from distance .
It's getting annoying though. Every time someone gets through on goal and the flag doesn't go up because of the VAR nonsense they claim it's bad defending. It's as though they'd never heard of the offside trap. Like they expect us to play them offside and be simultaneously goal-side in order to defend. There was even the surprise that the FBs were on opposite sides after a corner - you'd think they'd have twigged that one by now.
Can you batter a team 0-1...? They had once half chance and scored. We have several very good chances and hit the post twice. Gutted we've lost that winning run but we're through and that's all that matters I suppose. I thought I'd seem some bad referring in my time but that's definitely the worst! Sanchez should have gone with a straight red before half time. In ther guest half he gave them every niggly thing and us absolutely nothing. He had no choice but to give Sanchez a second yellow, he would gave avoided it if he could!
Just in case I am coming across as optimistic I will add that I am thinking we will get beat in QF Also think Forest is potentially a massive banana skin And don’t get me started on our next league game lol
I think I recall that being the ref who sent off Pep when we dumped Man City out of CL. He obviously refereed that particular game perfectly though
