As a kid, i was always looking for 'pools on the pools because they were always bottom of div 4 as it was then - and i felt sorry for them ! So, who's going to Victoria Park on saturday then? Because i have a huge mate who is a Pools fan, i am thinking of flying from Soutahmpton to Newcastle on Sat morning , watch the game and then hit Newcastle town on sat night and back home on sunday - i know, but someones gotta do it !

I am travelling up Friday, staying over doing the game then heading home, Friday night in Hartlepool should be fun.

I am sure it is, but the future Mrs Finch has seen Geordie Shore and its forbidden, a few jars in Harltepool and a curry will do for me! Then i have the joys of tangling with Hartlepools mascot.

I'm debating it- don't have much money till payday(Monday), so deciding between this or going on the lash.
I will be watching Jeff Stelling (hopefully) squirm on Sky. Mind you - we came unstuck there last season after CP won his first 4 games. I remember his exact words "playing Charlton, won their last 4, wouldnt want to be playing them" The start of our demise last year - hope history does not repeat.
