Naby shouldn't play - need to give a rest else we'll break him. And can't rush Thiago back either. My guess is that Jones may get a start on that left side.

In all scenarios, hopefully we can just kill the game in the first half and then start taking players off early.

Ibrahima Konate was the sole absentee as Liverpool took in one of their final training sessions ahead of the Champions League last-16 decider vs. Inter Milan.
The Reds take on Inter in the second leg at Anfield on Tuesday night, with Jurgen Klopp putting his squad through their paces in an early evening session.

I was just thinking of a little rest for the lad prior to arsenal and Brighton games piling on behind?

Jurgen Klopp admits he is “really happy” Inter man is suspend
Jurgen Klopp is “really happy” Inter Milan will be without midfielder Nicolo Barella on Tuesday night, with the 25-year-old in supreme form last time out in Serie A.
The Liverpool manager is aware of the danger posed by Inter despite holding a 2-0 lead in the Champions League last 16, with Simone Inzaghi’s side thrashing Salernitana 5-0 at the weekend.

Going to be really, really tough tonight. I think 2-0 at their shop totally flattered us, tbh. And apart from a shambolic Leeds, I think our form has been iffy at best. This tie is not over - I think we'll be hanging on for dear life at 1-2 with five minutes to go. :emoticon-0107-sweat

Ideally we can get a couple of early goals and kill the game, then take the foot off the pedal and take players off on 60.

Ideally yes but I think they're decent and it won't go that way.

Inter have to score at least 3 goals to go through. Anyone know last time we conceded 3 at home?

My only concern is we try to be too conservative from the start instead of playing our natural game and then closing up shop .

I agree they won't come at us they'll want to slow the game and get goals at the right time.
