I guess hell be wanting the 2bn he pumped into the club back in some way Sold thier soul to the devil and the reaper has arrived for payment
Running out of straws at Three Point Lane. The bitterness of Spurs fans now Roman is leaving is seemingly even more than when he joined. In fact, the World champions should emerge from this as one of the elite clubs in Europe - World champions are a highly desirable purchase and hopefully debt free to boot as well. This is just the start, of course, and so many possibilities. No one can guess what will happen but Chelsea most likely won't go bust or fold.
Let's have a race, you paying off your stadium debt with Europa Leagie 25k gates, and us paying off dirty loans
but they lost the medals and the record books won't show them . This won't happen to Chelsea obviously i was just pointing out "history" bollocks for 3bn you can buy a company that makes real money or 10 Newcastles .
The problem with RA selling for £3billion is that who ever (or what ever company) spends that sort of money they'll expect a return. Chelsea also either need to improve the bridge or build a new ground which a new owner is less likely to do if they pay that kind of money. If Chelsea made £50m profit a year (after wages, transfers, running costs etc) it would take the new owners 60 years to break even. For a company that's not a good investment as most clubs make nowhere near that level of profit. Their best hope is for another Newcastle/City type owner but they paid nowhere near that level of money for those clubs.
So far what's the record (most) paid to purchase a PL club ? I don't know the answer but would have thought it's in the 100's of millions and not billions.
