Most of us could look at decisions throughout this season and say VAR as cost us point(s). Something that was supposed to stop controversy, seems to be creating more.
This has been my argument from the start. It hasn't actually removed the controversies as it promised to do, it's just created more. And they are even more blatant controversies because even given the ability to slow the game down, view it 50 times from different angles, it still ****s it up. My personal thoughts are that VAR or no VAR, you're always going to get mistakes. Best just leave it to the onfield ref and accept that they aren't always going to get it right.
Yep, refs always have been a law unto themselves and many of them are proper jobsworthy, over-officious types, who are attracted to the 'power'. Or something.
