I just meant a draw in terms of borderline decisions decided by VAR, if Chavs are complaining about theirs then ours is just as debatable. Anyway, as mito pointed out, Lucky was flagged off anyway, so no VAR and we'd have won. Which we did anyway.
Thought it yesterday but did anyone else notice Mane - and his lack of joy I realise he had been subbed and this prob not as big as ACON to him but I hope he not on his way
Sorry.mate but no. There was alcohol about and.such and he stood well back away from it so not conspiracy or falling out for you If you watch back to the climbing of the stairs he was egging the lads on and quite happy but being a devout Muslim lad he avoided the whole alcohol thing. To be quite honest there was no need to have any round nor be spraying it. The lad is just plain and simple a good guy.
Fair enough but not actually where i was talking about I was talking about on the balcony where he seemed quite distant, just didn't look happy Seemed to just be going through the motions I really rate Mane and don't want to see him leaving thats all Either way we will see soon enough
People will have to get used to our elite offside trap. It creates the illusion that the other team had numerous chances but they are always chalked off. Athletic did an article about it sometime back and we had double the amount of offsides against I think 90 to 45 at the time. Since then, we have gone a notch higher and it is ridiculous how well we execute it. The problem is when highlights and analysis are done, they include those chances as part of the reasons the other team played well. The reality is we have one of the best defences in the league and due to the high line, we are able to execute our counter press to ruthless effect hence why we are the top scorers in the league
He was down the end as they had alcohol in the area. They also completely ****ed up the media presentations and the whole thing which was piss poor organisation by the efl (are we shocked) so mane was half way in the supposed line and the second half was sent the other way.
It's strange because in the previous trophy celebrations, I'm sure we used non alcoholic beverages so that way all of the muslim lads could enjoy it. Surprised as to why they didn't do it for the league cup.
cos its the EFL. they couldn't even organise the path up to the medals ffs. It was more set up for the nobs to go to the bar than to direct the players past the guy handing out medals. we have to realise this cup win generated a massive 200k revenue for the club. The 2 legged SF and the final are what the EFL harvest their slush funds from and of course thier nobs all want a boozy party don't they?
It's a good thing Matip has stayed off injury this season. He is keeping Konate on his toes. We have good cover at the back this season.
Im surprised don’t get non alcoholic. In the f1 pretty sure they do that in certain countries. I’m sure it’s something that could easily change, let’s be honest if they want some champagne for changing rooms to drink fine but the stuff out on the pitch no one bothers drinking anyway
Vvd had a proper moan about offsides not being flagged and having to play on, run extra and at some point going to cause an injury etc. He wants it changed for clear offsides which I think we can all agree with. I wonder if also pissed about it because pundits and stuff keep highlighting how many chances we give up when most are offside as well. Prob isn’t as fussed about it but is very lazy of pundits etc.
he is just an alpha male who intimidates officials in his own way. some of those "chances" were 2-4 yards offside. We are playing like boring boring arsenal under George graham at the back. VVD is out equivalent of a Tony adams, but better looking and a better passer of the ball. thankfully we are a tad better to look at going forward than that arsenal side. Its an offside game. if someone gets a proper run they will be in and thats where people need to accept the keeper will be out sweeping and if kelleher has an incident like he did or alisson then don't jump all over them. The team is set up to expose them like this albeit as rarely as possible. 2-7 v villa occurred as players got runs on us form their own half as certain full backs were not bothered to hold any position and nobody was bothered to keep grealish on the outside either. half their goals were deflections having let the guy a free run and then let him cut in and hit on right foot. Same as lucky on sunday. konate should never ever have left him cut inside and hit. if he accepted the shot from wide and backed his keeper imo they'd not even have reviewed as kelleher would have saved. IMo the biggest danger to us is someone breaking wide AND someone getting a tap in through the middle. Most side are not set up to play two up top so we rarely see this as "someone" should always be tracking the second runner an example of when this failed was chelsea 2-2.
I said this right at the beginning of VAR, and nobody took any notice. Letting the play run carries the unnecessary risk of injury from last-ditch attempts to prevent a goal when it's obvious the play should have been stopped. On a less important note, it's the reason why the stupid hacks think we're coughing up chances all the time - they don't realise that most of them would have been flagged for offside long before they got to the goal.
