That video is the reason I'll never slag off any of the current players. All of them seemed to acknowledge the fans. If the players give their all, even if a bit ****, they have my backing.

A lot of credit has to go to Alex Neil, I'm not saying he's cracked it yet, but he admitted early on that the team was unbalanced, he's had to experiment in his first few games but today we looked solid at the back and very dangerous when going forward let's just hope with can build confidence for the play offs

Yeah it's got every appearance of a new manager having to experiment a bit but quickly getting to grips with the task at hand. Think that's a loss, then a draw then a convincing win since he took over, looks promising.

obviously not wanting to go overboard at the minute but have to say we looked like a different team today, mainly the work ethic and backing each other up, good to see us employing some sh1thousery for a change as well.

as you said though, AN deserves credit as the team look as if they are taking whatever he is saying on board and showing it on the pitch...i don't give a rats @rse about fancy 'tappy lappy' football, solid workman-like performances should get us out of this league but we know we can also play a bit when needed.

Look at the Maguire foul on Winchester. High, all studs. Potential Leg breaker and he got a yellow!!

Alex should have come here in last summer, in my opinion too late another mistake by the owners that rubbish run cost us.

Enjoy your drinks fellow Sunderland fans - I will have to wait until tonight to get stuck in to the wines and beers in celebration, unfortunately my headache will start Monday morning, at least most of you can recover quietly on a Sunday :emoticon-0103-cool:

Wigan fans reckon that was the players worst performance this season, with the biggest crowd this season (boosted by us and lots of free tickets).

Surely nobody performs badly in front of their biggest crowd of the season. :smiley-finger007:

    It’s like programming a computer!!

IF result = Good then Monty says we should’ve made this appointment earlier else Monty slags the owners for employing the wrong person. Person is same on both scenarios!!

Agreed. Hopefully he comes back refreshed. There’s a good player in there, he was superb at the beginning of the season.

This is what's it's all about as a fan, play at your best, give it all and the fans have your back, and then some.
Players at this club over the years sometimes don't know how lucky they were being at our wonderful club.
More of the same for the final fixtures and see where it takes us HTL

We can still get 92 points if we play like we normally do when we are getting relegated <laugh>
