I dont think its a simple as that mate. There are many normal Russian generals who would stop him. He maybe the leader but there are are others involved.
Absolutely, it's quite evident that all the former Soviet satellite states have immense national pride in their identity and for Putin to crow that 'we're all Russian' shows how totally deluded he has become. For one man to exert such total power is frightening part of this, he calls the Ukrainian government Nazis yet he is a 21st century Hitler in his strategy...
I take your point Goldie, however ii still ascertain that for many it’s just virtue signalling and just them wanting to look like they care more than others. Not long ago it was a French flag….after that a ‘I’ve had my covid jab’…now the Yellow and blue of Ukraine. What’s next months cause gonna be ?

Ridiculous mate. Putin or Ukraine and you can't decide who's side you're on? No one is suggesting war is preferable, so any loss of life is tragic. At some point though, one has to decide who's side one is on imo.
Thats your opinion and you’re fully entitled to it. I think it’s far more complicated than that and don’t think it’s a matter of ‘taking sides’. Funny to see you say ‘Putin or Ukraine’….. Why not Russia or Ukraine….or Putin or Zelinsky ?
That isn't the question though. Otherwise you could have said that about the Nazis. It's whether you think Putin is justified in invading another sovereign country.
