Glosili is such a good song and the album it's on is really good and has some great album art. Hoppipola is probably the most well known song from that album, but I like this Indeed, while I had heard glosili and hoppipola before, it was listening to this on a year 10 kid's mp3 player on a school trip (ironically to Iceland) that made me decide to get the album. Of course this is a classic. Both the song and video felt quite depressing so I listened to it a lot when I was an angsty teenager
And to really round out the day, Mark Lanegan has died too. Just 57 years old, but having read his autobiography, it might just have been his 9th life. One of the pioneers and his work as a solo artist and collaborator was incredible.
