One of Labour's big problems is they've lost Scotland to the nationalists. Look at Blair's early Cabinets, they were mostly made up of Scots.
I think you have a point about how the system favours the party in power. However, I really think Labour supporters, of which I could be one under the right circumstances, should look more at why they are so unpopular. Look at this, rather than just looking for excuses.
I know you don’t like accepting a result and you think that you can do a better job but as I keep saying… we have one voice and that is our vote. People should not be telling us how we should vote.
I’m not telling you how to vote. I think the thick ****s who rely on public services then scratch their heads wondering why their standard of living is in decline probably shouldn’t vote for the Party that openly ****s on them but I wouldn’t tell them how to vote. That would be counter-productive.
What do you care you spend money on football, going out, buying clothes, nice car, nice house, good job, yet you think you are one of the people? Utter crap. And They reason people keep voting Tory is the fact that the opposition is s##t and unelectable. What idiot in their right mind would have voted Corbyn in? The bloke was a f##ing idiot with idiot ideas. So what do Labour do… they replace him with a North London lawyer who is as boring as s##t and a shadow cabinet that makes the Muppet Show look real. So who else do we have… the Limps, who want to try and take us back into the EU when the country voted to leave… it’s quite simple really.
Very Tory of you to suggest that because I have a reasonable lifestyle I shouldn’t give a **** about the (increasingly) poor. Starmer is a good bloke and has more integrity than the entire Cabinet put together. You’ll always find a reason to bad-mouth whoever leads Labour but there’s really not one bit of **** on him. If people want charisma, and the obese part-time journalist opposite is apparently charismatic, then they can vote for another five years of it.
Too charismatic or maybe not charismatic enough. Too northern or maybe not northern enough. There will be a reason he’s a terrible person. Probably nicked some sweets from Woolworths.
He's recently been elected for a second term in Manchester. Media suggests he won't be available until 2025. Yvette Cooper might run. Labour have a habit of shooting themselves in both feet over leadership. First, choosing Ed over David Miliband, and then...Corbyn
They will do because Starmer is a dud. Boris makes the calls and Starmer always fails. Starmer wanted a second referendum. Starmer flip flopped over lockdowns and wanted us to join that EU program ( which would have been a disaster). He makes me laugh when Boris was talking in the house about Russia. Mr Starmer tried to act like some war leader… the same Starmer who wanted to break up NATO a few years ago! The bloke is unelectable.
I think we both know there's no point to this . You will rubbish whatever I say. Some of it will probably be justified, some just noise. Asking the country to vote for Corbyn resulted in one of their biggest ever defeats. Starmer is a massive improvement, although I don't particularly like him and he had a very checkered record at the DPS. Labour need to stop naval gazing and start to engage with more of the public imo.
