Normally, when using my iPad and I want to reply to a post I just click on “reply” and a keyboard appears. That’s not happening now. I’m having to use my old laptop. Any ideas where the keyboard has gone, and why, and how do I get it back? Grateful for any help.

1st suggestion is turn it off for a minute then restart it.

As long as you are certain that you do not have a Bluetooth keyboard that is still paired with your iPad - Try either or both of these things.

Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the power off slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.

Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.

Does anyone know of a cure for bloody muddleheaded confusion? That and a sight impairment linked with new bi-focals means I keep hitting the wrong button. Sorry, all!
