    As the title says.....

Lets forget about Cashley and all the cack thats happened..... Pardew says the right things.... has made some good calls and seems like he really does want to push us on.

Lets get behind him and the team and maybe cashley will actually keep our best players and see the bigger picture... invest and next season we could be going for top 7......

DREAMS.... they do come true.... ust ask any SPUDS fan tonight!

great result, but lets not get too far ahead of ourselves.
look at it game by game, cos we have a habit of shooting ourselves in the foot.
we have a chance to overtake sunderland, but we musnt get complacent, and just take it fixture by fixture.

True, true... but for now let's just concentrate on the team instead of what's going on behind the scenes. No matter what he does, that bloody song isn't goin to change anything and just incites him to do more (i.e breaking up the singin section).

I just think the same as NUFCtomw362.... we get behind the team and the players will want to stay... the board may release funds to invest and the the geordie machine starts rolling faster and upwards!

Hughton: 19 points in 16 games
Pardew: 16 points in 11 games

We win our next game and he's equalled Hughton's points this season, with 4 games less played!

I'm deeply apologetic for implying that Pardew is better than Hughton, but...those are the stats :emoticon-0107-sweat

Newcastle Towers and Mike and Derek are reflecting on a prosperous January over a bag of Greggs.

MA: I can’t believe it Derek. £35 million for Anthony Carroll…
    DL: Andy.
MA: Certainly was, wasn’t it? £35 million! Can I have a go on your roulette table?

Now, i'm really happy with Pardew. Seems solid, and he has definately brought us consitency. But remember that he is doing all of this with the team and the belief that Hughton built.

But, football is a strange game, and you've got to move on. And I have to say, i'm happy at the minute. Can't believe that we can even *think* about pushing for Europe!

This is the stat I am most impressed with, losses against City & Spurs are to be expected, and the loss at Fulham was just after you know who was sold, so maybe the players were a bit distracted? Either way we have become a lot more solid under Pardew.

I agree. Hughton managed to get good results in the big games but when it came to the must win games (e.g. Blackpool and Stoke at home) he didn't have much luck. Also, when you think how close we were to beating Sunderland and Spurs a few weeks ago, Pardew's record could have been even more impressive.
