We are in a worse position points wise at this stage than we were two season ago....

Massive game on saturday, hopefully have Eaves and Allahyar for it. Would stick Hudds straight in there as none of those ****ers can handle the slightest drop of pressure

Absolute pile of shyte, that was as bad if not worse then the performances put in under McCann during the relegation season, we might be clear right now, but sorry with performances like that we'll get dragged into it in no time. Shota needs to have a rethink about his tactics, fkn hoofball went out in the 70s, and to try it with a totally ineffective weak as fk striker is suicide. Shota got his tactics right against Sheffield Utd and QPR, but tonight we needed to be on the front foot with decisive football, what we got was panicked, rushed, and fkn hopeless.

I’d be scouring the free and available players list right now. Sign some players that will add some fight.

Do we have midfielders capable of doing anything but that because on tonight’s showing everytime they tried to do something other then that they gave them the ball back in our final third.

Slater gave the ball away cheaply in the first half a few times but he was one of the only ones who looked remotely bothered. The only midfielder who tried to pick a forward pass or carry the ball forward.

That can be Smallwood’s last game for me tbh. Never rated him at this level but to chuck the armband on the floor instead of putting it on George’s arm then storming off like a petulant child stinks. What example is that to our young squad from the captain?

Totally agree, he has to accept he brought his mate in to manage City & it's not working. Get Warnock in till the end of the season to get us organised & get us playing 3-5-2. At present our midfied offers no protection for the defence & is creating no chances for our striker(s). We need someone in that dressing room ASAP the players will respect & listen to. Shota may be a nice bloke but he's been managing in Uzbekistan & on the last 7 performances it shows!!!

We had one sat on the fkn bench but instead of putting him on he just reverted to McCann tactics, replacing like for like

I thought we were pretty much safe ..... but not now. Barnsley and Peterborough are down, but Derby and Reading may well catch us.
Were playing with a 3rd choice keeper (no offence) and a 5th choice striker, and some baffling selections.
Desperately need Eaves (that's how desperate it is) and AS back fit, and Jones to stay fit and be selected in midfield. With Jones there we could probably also then see Thudd bring the lacking quality.

On this showing none of the out of contract players need to have them renewed.

at the end of the day we're a poor championship side put together by the Allams and McCann at minimum spend - with the best will in the world Shota was never going to come in and turn these players into top end Championship players - it's not his fault we can't pass the ball and we can't cross the ball - I'm sure we practice that week in week out - they just don't have it - the players are what they are and unless we spend big nothing's going to change - he can change formation, change tactics etc etc but that doesn't make them better players, they are what they are - the commentator highlighted it over and over again - total lack of quality

This is no league for learning. We know the 3-5-2 works. We are trying to be exciting but we don’t have the quality. Also don’t see how this formation is suiting KLP and Longman.

It was obvious from the first 20 we needed some control, if we can all see that why can't the manager ?

He should never play another game. When we have players like Alfie Jones and Docherty sitting on the bench how the hell is Smallwood starting. He adds nothing.
