The ones I used were from August...to show we weren't lucky imo.

On Saturday we did have 5 to their 4 on target

And the ref who sent off Son for a very similar push to the one by De Bruyne on Hojbjerg which of course didn't even warrant a yellow!

Hojbjerg didn't pretend to have been shot though, to be fair. Totally different. <whistle>

Fair, I’d forgotten we’d competed a bit better that game. Surprisingly well, considering it was under Nuno

Dr RDBD is qualified to inject banter intravenously in emergency cases.
So here we go then ....

Our defending has been atrocious, and all of our better players have been off. It was Kane last season
who wrecked Laporte's season, he's done it to our entire back 4 today"

I love how everyone is just recognising Kane's performance on Saturday.
He was excellent but so were Son, Kulusevski, Romero and Dier.
All were 9 out of 10s for me. Then we had several 8 out of 10 performances like Davies, Bentancur and Davies.

The rest were 7 out of 10.

I don't mean this as a down on kane btw I think he was a 9.5 out of 10...if he'd scored the one that Ederson saved with his foot it'dhave been the perfect performance...I hope other clubs treat us like a one man team cos it'll create space for others.

I know lloris made a mistake but he also pulled off a truly outstanding save and kept everyone at the back calm.

Finally Conte got his selection, tactics and subs spot on.

As a side note, I loved how, when we scored the winner he and Ryan Mason celebrated together. It's excellent that he has taken Mason under his wing. It'll really help him develop as a coach and manager.

    Kane is a complete forward.

Whether he has a decent MF serving him (peak Pochettino) ,
dropping deeper and scoring less but making more
(the service to Son the past two seasons etc) , goals will come.

If he also had vaguely Azza/Bale speed then
FIFA would have to officially make him illegal.

Ben had one helluva game, but was he worth two players? Maybe having the extra man made all the difference! <laugh>

Chisora's a Man Utd fan, as he's from nowhere near Manchester.
Do they really want Liverpool to win the league? ****ty choice for them. Shame.

Lots of criticism of Cancelo on there, which kind of misses the point.
He wasn't really playing left-back, but was more of a deep playmaker, virtually free of position.
He was involved in most of their dangerous stuff, too.
Any defensive failings that result from that are on Guardiola. It's his tactical choice in action.

Limited options in that position when your first choice is a serial rapist though, I guess.

When it comes to Man Utd and Liverpool fans, I think there's one quote which sums them up the best
The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again; but already it was impossible to say which was which.
