Does anyone still think that we will go up?

It’s absolutely disgusting how we’ve collapsed. Useless the lot of them.

Bet Lee Johnson is having a little chuckle to himself (not that I think he should have stayed mind)

I doubt it, but knowing SAFC then I'm sure they will put us through the wringer of the playoffs and a trip to Wembley. :1980_boogie_down:

It's still possible. Get a win on Tuesday and we will be looking up again. Funny old game football I wouldn't be surprised if we won a scrappy game on Tuesday then went and beat Wigan on Saturday. I also wouldn't be surprised if we took 0 points from those 2. We are still well in the scrap for the playoffs and if we make them it's a lottery.

To answer your question. No I don't think we will go up but it's definitely still possible so I won't give up hope.

No. The board have tanked this season so badly in the last 8 weeks that it looks almost intentional.

And if we did go up we'd need to spend a fortune or we'd go straight back down.

I was convinced this was our year.
Who would of predicted the recent turn of events ?
Hence why I'm not a betting man.
Mind if we do go up I'm doing the lottery again :emoticon-0148-yes: <laugh>

i doubt it now, there was an air of grim acceptance in the SOL yesterday, not even much anger which i expected. I think we've blown it, not sure we'd get anywhere in the playoffs, we're definitely nowhere near one of the top 3 best teams in l1.

Not a chance. We were top at the end of the year.
Our fall from grace since has been epic.

Almost impossible to even see us reaching the play offs.

This is a long horror run. The players are used to losing, many are drained mentally and physically. Not sure how any team can just " snap" out of it.

But hey, we still have a clear vision, and a forward plan, and a philosophy and a project. Not like those mugs at Rotherham and Wigan, who are going to float upwards untroubled, and sort next season out when this one is done.

    Not ruled it out yet.
My hope is that we scrape into the playoffs, get players back and just get better and better. Could happen. <cheers>

No chance, we just aren’t good enough. Could end up finishing 9th or 10th. Squad lacks balance and the confidence is shot.

I also noticed that, it was a strange atmosphere. I agree that we are not one of the top three best teams in League 1, however I will still keep the faith and hopefully our magnificent support will be repaid this season.

Yeah it seemed the performance was just that flat that the fans had been drained of any energy to even bother getting pissed off. As you say it seemed a grim acceptance that we are just awful.

Trust you all realise we are playing Burton Tuesday night and our record against them is not good, but l am half full, so yes we will make the playoffs.

A lot depends on the Burton game for me, if Neil hasn't learned anything and we play the same team and get the same result I think my last shreds of optimism will have gone.

If we mix it up and come back with a strong performance and a win then there's every chance we can go on a run. Neil needs to get it figured out asap, no more CMs at RB when we've got a perfectly good RB ready and waiting.

Aye and defoes only goal will be the playoff final winner,

on a serious note no, momentum is dead
Fans are drained, players are drained,
    I think we'll finish about 8th
