In my case the people who used to go who I know and who don't do now all stopped when we dropped out of the Premier League. I used to get phone calls 'Can you get me tickets for so and so away' ? Now they don't even know when we are at home. The habit has been broken, the magic gone, and it will take some recreating.

Minimum allocation is fine in a stadium where supply is short but a revenue loser if not !

That might be true, but it shouldn't be. Safe standing would improve safety vs the current situation which is a mixture of sitting and unsafe standing. It should be introduced asap to improve safety as well as other reasons. It shouldn't be a reward for good behaviour.

I can't get my head around the logic of not doing it ASAP, yet at the same time tolerating standing among the trip hazards of low backed seats.

What the current situation clearly demonstrates is that standing is perfectly safe, because there'd be injuries every game at every ground right now if it wasn't.

I do believe safe standing combined with unreserved areas in parts of the stadium would appeal to many.

With some scaffolding and a tarpaulin I reckon we can stick the away fans in East Upper. We might not even need the tarpaulin.

Probably cos it's unproven in England so far.

I'd make the centre of the east a d the mid sections behind both goals railed.

I'd have a buffer of regular seating between th vociferous home and the safe standing away though.

Ain't gonna happen. We have too many dickheads the authorities wont trust with it if recent weeks is anything to go by.

And we have too many rank and file passing it off as media hype despite the SMC launching their campaign off the back of Humberside coverage yesterday.

    Aww, they're just exuberant lads....

Tell parents of kids and sons of pensioners who want to come to the game that.

I Mean ffs. Chucking celery like they wannabe Chelsea.

    Ban the ****s.

    You’ve peaked rather impressively there.

Squeezing such a large amount of nonsense into one post is a skill I suppose

Here's my entry , using an old and trusted design, though I'd use Tiger's instead of lions for the half time entertainment....
