One of our usual lot couldn't make it today. So we had some randomer sat in his seat. He was effing and jeffing at Ralph for daring to bring Broja off for Shane.

Hopefully we won't find ourselves sitting next to him again.

I would love to see Everton go down but I think they have too much goal scoring potential. Didn’t show it today but….

Lampard still can’t coach a defence though and I’m sure morale is appalling. Hundreds of millions spent, Benitez is allowed to remove all the medical staff, sell one of their best players and then be canned a week later? They have zero plan. That must be a depressing club to be involved with.

Just back, thoroughly enjoyed that today. The big difference in this team from about 12 games ago is confidence and a fit Stuey. When he is on song he just glides past players and opens up so much space. I think he becomes our most influential attacking player when he is on this form as it just creates so much space for other players.
I thought KWP was awesome and the rest of the lads were good. Romeu did what Romeu does well (apart from shooting from 25 yards)

Let's hope their team's coach has the same view then.

What a team. Frustrating for me to watch from the kings land stand as all the play in first half was tother side of the field. In second half almost same again!!! Still some of the footie from saints was outstanding at times. Nice to see Foster had nothing to save defence was outstanding at times. Broke them down time and time again. Roll on Friday…….COYS

    Just back.

That is what happens when you aren't knee jerk and sack your manager but believe in him.

Once last comment. Love Shane Long. No I mean it. I think I am in love with Shane Long.

Do we think it was a pen against Romeu in the first ten minutes for that handball? The whole Everton forum seem to think it was. Not that it would have changed the result, frank(Lampard)ly.

The commentators kept on and on about it. I thought it hit his chest/stomach then on to his arm so no penalty, but you’d have thought it was a definite penalty the way they kept banging on about it.

JWP, Armstrong and Romeu all bossed the midfield and looked composed on the ball. This forced the Toffees to go long and our CB's moped up. Very accomplished performance. Toffee fans were so plastic, so many walked out early and as for the moron(s) who threw blue smoke bombs onto the pitch... what tossers!

Didn’t get a good, clear look at the incident, even on the replays.
Nothing definitive from the angles shown and no close ups.

They're really not. Frank has energised them. They won't go down. But apart from 5 minutes at the beginning of each half we managed to dominate the play.

What really clinched it for us was Salisu giving Richarlison a hard time which effectively put Calvert Lewis out of the game becayuse he got no service. He got so frustrated as the game went on. Even the ref had enough of his theatrical diving.

Really liked the Shane 'love in'. The players, the managers, the fans - even the PA man plying hey Jude at the end...

i would have said yes before last week, but I feel it was if the same ilk as Hojberg’s against us…if that was given then I would have no complaints if todays was given, but as it wasn’t given, I have no issues with Romeu ‘getting away with one’
