As a result, Stewart Donald, Juan Sartori and Charlie Methven – members of the Madrox group – were said to be retaining a minority shareholding. However reports from The Athletic revealed this week that Dreyfus actually owns 41% of the club, with Donald retaining 34%, Sartori holding 20% and Methven holding 5%. With the existing members of the Madrox group holding a combined majority of 59%, fans have been left furious as while Dreyfus has said he has ‘executive control’ at the Stadium Of Light, the share structure of the club certainly says otherwise.
