Survived a really dodgy first ten minutes luckily.
Since then, we’ve grown into the game and played well.

 

Dominant half after a slow start. All the chances going our way. Still not sure how Pickford saved the Tino chance. Richarlison still a tit, and there might be a red for Allan in the post (or Calvert-Lewin).


Best part though is that in the Slovakian stream, they are calling Everton ‘caramelle’ instead of Toffees, which pleases me.

We need to take our chances - how often have we said that? Looks like a typical Everton game where we outplay them, but that tit Richarlison scores the only goal of the game. I really hope not

 

Everton showed in that half that if you aren’t fit and disciplined enough then the high press becomes very difficult to maintain.
Credit to our boys for playing through the pressure without conceding an on target shot, and then imposing themselves on the game.
