If they up the price then they should spread the cost over more direct debits. Why can't they do it each month over the course of the season? Season normally runs August-May which would be 10 DD's. That may soften the blow.
I'll be getting a season card next season but I won't be in the BCB again. L1 football football isn't worth 700 odd quid!
We looked at BCB, largely for a but nicer all round experience before and after the game but I can't stand sitting behind the goal. Also, as you say, it's not worth it for L1 footy Looked at doing Quinn's Bar a couple of years ago but unless you get there at midday you aren't guaranteed a table. Definitely not paying over a grand to stand at the bar
@richenergyceo I have made an approach to Madrox regarding their shares as a way to expedite a deal. My lawyers will be also be submitting a formal offer for 100% of the shares next week. I’d like to thank my investors for backing my vision for Sunderland & a club with limitless potential #SAFC (Set your clocks ⏰♂️)
A meal and program. It hasn’t been the best set up this season but they’re getting better plus it’s warm. Better than Quinn’s bar and cheaper. Suits me as I get older as it’s comfortable, ya can go inside for a warm at anytime and the seats are comfy.
Aye, I can imagine it depends on what people want. I'm in the family corner with my 9yr old but also with my dad who is in his 60s with a dodgy knee. Row 35 isn't good for him to get up to, especially in winter so we may look to move next season.
I’m also not paying for my sons’ season tickets anymore so I’m taking advantage of being financially able to afford it. I’m in a lucky position where it meets my needs and I can pay for it. But I think it’s worth it.
My son's ticket is only coppers in the family corner, so I can't complain as it's a very good deal. As soon as his is full price he is going down the pit grafting from 5am to pay for it himself though....
Must admit, from what the Atkins lads told me about him at the time he joined us he has been a major disappointment considering that he’s also a fan.
Yeah mate basically, free programme as well and a padded seat. It is good in there, decent drinks on tap as well.
My grandson won 2 tickets for the BCB and was ok about the meal liked the comfy seats but preferred our own seats in the east stand so we moved there at half time . I would never contemplate moving to the BCB the meal was only moderate and I did not like the view from behind the goal I will be sticking in the east stand where I have been since the SOL opened as many of the fans have as well . Haway the lads !!!
