Burns is pretty dour and used to f**kwits ringing in, probably out of touch with the stands. I'm concerned the recent rise in exuberant support and what feels like our best crop of City youth coming through for a long time are going to get supressed by a backlash just at the wrong time for us?
I don't need to give you " evidence" you ****.....its a forum we are on and that's my opinion ....so **** off
Clubs that share with Rugby League Clubs pencil in a window for pitch repairs. Hull FC have no game between 22nd May until 2nd July at Home. Wigan and London Broncos both similar. The only club who doesnt appear to have a break of Home fixtures is Huddersfield Giants
If you take out some fool chuckling a plastic bottle, who was taken out anyway...what is it that is being done in the ground by our fans that is 'hooliganism' or warrants our fans being described as 'the dregs of society' as someone did on a different thread. Just seemed to me the atmosphere was getting back to something like. What is it I'm missing? Thanks
People are welcome to like or dislike Burnsy, it's their choice, but to say he's anti-Hull is absolutely ridiculous. He's a great advocate for the city and always has been.
I wonder if the so-called rise in hooliganism recently is actually just a reflection of a rise in violent and anti-social behaviour in general due to lockdowns and restrictions being lifted. Maybe some people who were frustrated and angry at being in lockdown are just going over the top on nights out in pubs, clubs, bars and football matches now that they’re allowed out again, drinking way too much and looking for a scrap. It’s no excuse but I’m interested if there’s a correlation between disorder at football games and general public disorder at other venues and social places.
Wasn’t there a study which linked lockdowns with a rise in domestic violence? If so, could be that wall-punching thugs took their anger out on their partners during lockdown and take it out on anyone else when allowed out again.
Yes, you do. You said he is anti-Hull, which is a statement not a suggestion. If you said you think he's anti-Hull, then you could be asked why but it couldn't be taken as fact because it's an opinion. As it stands, you need to provide evidence for your statement or correct it.
Caught a bit where someone said they stopped going because someone near him was swearing and making children cry. The stewards wouldn't do anything as they really reckoned it wasn't their job.He now goes to Grimsby goes home and away . And guess what? He has never sen any bad behaviour. Burnsy accepts all this B/S without any scepticism.
I remember swearing in the West Stand years ago and being asked not too? I told the bloke to go **** himself or go to a library on a Saturday afternoon if he didn't like the odd swear word ,don't remember any kids bubbling though!
Football clubs share with union clubs who play at the same time all through the winter months, Brentford, Bristol City, Derby County, Swansea amongst them. They have had 9 or 10 Union games, which cause more damage than RL ones, and those pitches are in a better state than ours where only football has been played during the winter months. Which suggests the problem is with our pitch and not to do with eggchasing.
Really? Who's going to 'Police' this Steven? Will it be selective Policing, across the board or a blind eye turned if you're part of the cabal?
