And he's learned to take a good corner. Is it me or was he often a bit crap for us when it came to corners? Okay I've only watched highlights and the bbc don't show that many poor corners. But he is regularly putting in quality for West Ham. My memory is of a chorus of "oh no don't we have anyone else to take a corner" Followed by "What the F ... was that" They must practice these thing in the Premier League
A bit funny sometimes to think of them having played together. It'd be like if you dug up footage of that 7-1 battering against Spurs on the last day of that PL season when Bowen got a start amongst a lot of our PL players that then moved on.
This from Klopp Klopp also praised Jarrod Bowen, describing him as "unbelievable". "We saw him at Hull and he was really good at that time, but I'm not sure a lot of people expected this jump.
I know this is comparing apples to oranges... but Salah I dont think has signed his contract yet... maybe he sees something similar in Bowen though obviously not at that level...
He couldn’t get past the first man like so many of our corner takers - until George came along - sometimes George forgets to put pace on the corner but generally he’s good
Did anyone see Bowens overhead kick v Eintrich Frankfusrt midweek-sensational. Hit the cross bar and bounced out.
Hope so. He is definitely worth a go. Left footed as well. Has becoming a quality premier league player. Think the “ big” clubs will be sniffing soon. Do we have an add done?
Gave the ball away for Arsenal's goal though; really sloppy pass straight to one of theirs. The (well taken) goal was redemption
Jarrod Bowen has now been directly involved in exactly 100 goals in 208 appearances in England's top four tiers (71 goals, 29 assists), with 64 involvements coming for Hull City and 36 for West Ham.
