Was it only hcc who designed the stadium or was there a designer of stadiums who had previous experience.

Do away fans do that at St James?

The set up (as you describe) has been absolutely crazy.
I get that the current design might bring some challenges with making the logical move of away fans to the NW corner, but surely there could be a window during close season where some basic structural changes could be made - like a couple of walls, a gate, a few toilets. Surely that can't be too hard or costly, and would finally solve a long standing ridiculous situation once and for all, and likely pay for itself pretty quickly.

To answer a couple of questions above. How do you know they won't do it at our place? Just because they might not do it anywhere else doesn't mean they wouldn't do it at the MKM.

Presumably because that's what stewards are employed for.

Also how can you know they would do it at our place?

Not sure how Newcastle or QPR fans or others manage.

The meeting were organised by HCC and the someone involved with the development. I went to the lip service City one and it was John North doing all the talking. Up to then even all the seats were black and white, we ( City fans) hadn't been given a second thought. The developer also designed the Stadium of Light which is twice the size of ours.

Well I don't think any of us did, so I don't know why you'd assume other clubs would do it to us?

You said "How do you know they won't do it at ours" I just responded similarly with "How do you know they would", as both questions have the same element of assumption.

There isn't a window because of the rugby. This is why the pitch is in such a state. There is no time to do anything because the stadium is in constant use.
On another note. City running a campaign to get fans back into the stadium with the £2 ticket offer for next Tuesdays home game....Dave Burns on Radio Humberside currently hosting and encouraging people to ring in about the problems of rising hooliganism at football. Helpful ?

You can bet if away fans did bombard any City fans below them that the only ones who would end up in court and with banning orders will be City fans on the receiving end. "He was rubbing the lump on his head in a hostile manner...".

    Quite an odd argument.
If we're using the 'just because they might not do it anywhere else doesn't mean they won't do it at our place' argument I might start a list of everything people don't do at other clubs and see if there's anything on the list to worry about them doing from the North Stand...(I'm already worried out people coming in slings and using them to fire red hot pies at us. Just because no ones done it anywhere else...)

I don't think it will happen anyway, but I don't think it's fair to assume away fans will 'bombard' City fans here when other clubs manage having away fans above home fans, and we manage not t bombard other fans when we're above them

Of course not. If I had evidence it wouldn't be a wild supposition would it?

    Your post is very contradictory.
