My pass is for E3 I've heard complaints about the stewards there but they are always ok with me always helpful,sometimes it's maybe how they are treated. I'm not saying they are perfect but I can only go on how I'm treated..
I've not seen many complaints about the conduct of the stewards there, it's more the presence of a whole line of them. Having to prove you've got your ticket in there multiple times per game. They're generally friendly as they do it, but people don't like being treated like criminals.
I must stand out the most I get asked to see my pass is once a game. Sometimes not even that. I'm a good boy I am.
Where were the oppo fans from? Carlisle is the most North Westerly club in England, so who would be travelling down the West Coast in their hundreds on a match day v Carlisle?!
Dread to think what the pitch might be like Tuesday.... it was poor last week, torrential rain tomorrow and egg chasers playing Saturday lunchtime...
Something needs sorting with the pitch. There have been 9 rugby union games, which are harder on pitches than rugby league ones, on Brentford's pitch and it is in far better shape than the MKM. Same with Swansea and Bristol City.
I was going to mention this nearer the time. A battle on a dodgy pitch was fine against Fulham, but we don't really want that against these.
Sorry,I haven't described the situation clearly. My train was going South from Glasgow and as my train pulled into Carlisle another one did at the same time 'Northbound'...
If I remember correctly, the pitch at The Circle used to regularly have issues this time of year, but it got a lot better when they bought those lamps. Last couple of winters it's gone bad again though. Strange.
I've never had an issue with them, apart from wondering why they stand in the 'tunnel' between the stand and the concourse when we're all trying to leave at half time. If there is a reason I don't see why they don't at least all stand on one side instead of both sides as it effectively half the width of teh tunnel, which is presumably that width for a reason. The Police do the same, and I have asked the same of them too.
