Fair play to Mel Moron for putting his money where his mouth is and taking on Borough and Wycombe himself. That’s how it should be every time though. These bellend owners steer the clubs into these messes with the aid and encouragement of fat **** managers and then both **** off and leave it all for someone else to tidy up. Hopefully Mel Moron loses.
please log in to view this image On 27 January the EFL and Derby County’s Administrators, Quantuma, announced a four week extension to the deadline for the provision of evidence of sufficient funding to complete the current season. The Administrators have not yet provided that evidence, and we await an urgent further update from them on both that and the announcement of a preferred bidder. https://www.efl.com/news/2022/february/derby-county-update/
So, it's now nearly 5 weeks. What was the point of the extension?!? I don't want a fellow club to fold ..... but equally their potential survival in the Championship (again) at the expense of other clubs who have done no wrong can't be right.
****’s sake. Put them out of their misery already. AFC Derby United to play in the Midlands combination division next season and that’s the last we see of them.
I know a bit about normal commercial businesses but it beggars belief that Derby can continue to trade , pay wages and costs etc plus the administrators - where does the day to day money come from - more accumulated debt to stupid banks and other creditors ? Their income surely can’t cover these costs? Any other business would have the gates locked - like we did albeit for other reasons . Anyone would like to explain
