Missed a connection at Doncaster once and had to wait ages on a freezing cold station, times like that make you wish you'd taken the supporters coach.

Up to this season I'd go with a friend of mine who lived in Leicester to about 6 or 7 away games a season. Usually get the train. But he's moved to NZ for a year so I've gone on my own this season (Wolves and Villa, going to Stoke on Monday).

Doesn't bother me going on my own, you can be more flexible and go as and when you like and not work around someone else.

Go with my missus to any away games, usually do 2-3 a season, going to Stoke next Monday and went to Leeds in pre-season. I really enjoy away games, always seems more intense to me and the euphoria you feel if we score is even higher than at home.

Derby away during the Championship season was horrible, freezing cold Tuesday night and we lost 3-0 although the banter with Savage was first class.

I vary really. None of my close friends support Newcastle so I quite often go on my own for both home and away games. One of my mates sometimes comes though (he is coming with me tonight) and I sometimes go with my girlfriend as well (we are coming up for the Man Utd home game!) and I enjoy going on my own and with people.

Blackburn will be my 12th NUFC away day, and been to them all with mates. Been to Gateshead games home and away by myself though and it wasn't that bad as you meet people there and have a chat on etc.

Used to go to the majority of London based games on my own for a while before I moved away to Belgium.

When I came back, Agent Bruce got me a cup ticket for Chelsea last season and I met up with Leazes and I generally meet up with them now whenever I can get to a game.

Met up with Leazes before the QPR game this season in the pub.

I'm a Newcastle fan living in wolverhampton. I go to as many games as i can. But unfortunatly i do go on my own as newcastle fans are non existant down here. Going to Stoke on my own next week aswell as man utd a few weeks after. Its frustrating as i dont have a season ticket i cant really pick and choose what away games to go to. But all in all i still try and get to around 10 games a season

I am unfortunately scarred by away game experiences - I went to Bolton 4 years on the trot and we lost all 4, scoring only 1 goal (Darren Ambrose screamer).

Also been to Wigan (in the LC, lost).

I'm surprised the club don't pay me to not turn up...

Living in Bournemouth, away games are much easier to get to. I normally go to 5-6 a season with my eldest son (my youngest isn't interested in football). I usually go to the games in the Midlands and London. (hope Southampton get promoted with Reading and Portsmouth)

If you go to any Newcastle United match you're always with 'mates':)

Been to loads of games all over the country, tendancy to drag the missus along or go it alone, not that bothered. Took her to the 5 0 win over coventry when she was 7 months pregnant, everyone was really nice to us!awww

They're reliable, go to every away game and get you there and back safely.
