Good luck with that. He will think that being at a football match means you are automatically on a par with terrorists and psychopathic mass murderers.

Do we? And tbf even if we do, I don't really care about other clubs, having E1 open again will be great and I just hope it's not spoilt

I think there's a distinct rise in hooliganism this last couple of years?A lot of young crews are forming with the sole purpose of meeting up to scrap? I travelled through Carlisle on a match day this season,I was heading down the West coast for a game and at Carlisle hundreds of young lads got off dressed in their fancy clobber and crossed the bridge in the station. As my train pulled out of the Station I could see the attraction...Hundreds of other young lads from Carlisle ready to rumble!!!

It's on the rise and probably due to less police on our Streets.

You've obviously never lived in Glasgow. Didn't you watch Taggart?

Less police and the fact the know there is also zero chance of any actual punishment for doing anything like that these days

The penalties for offences relating to anything to do with football are still in force and are much harsher than those handed out to the general population, at the beginging of the season there was 3 home games on the trot were a little bit of hand bags occuring in no man's land, some of those duly got banned by the club and quess what, nothing since !

The reason there's being a little bit of a uptick in FV this season among the 16 to 21 age group is likely imho to be a combination of young adults being locked down these last 2 years and not having an outlet for the exburances of youth and that same age group forgetting or not knowing about banning orders, heavy fines etc, things will soon settle down once a few of them find themselves facing a jail term for a few seconds punch up.

    A banning order...that'll teach them!

Heavy fine or jail term..... Almost certainly doesn't / won't happen unless it's the most serious. Like the Millwall lad who slashed someone

Edit... Having E1 open should help create a much better atmosphere and hopefully push the players. We need that and not dickheads who just want to chuck stuff at other fans and fight.

Humberside Plod only interested in City fans no matter how minor the carry on. Away fans get an easy ride off them.

Humberside plod just look for easy targets to tick their boxes. Why chase an actual criminal from London etc when you can nick a local
