I liked him when he played for City, and I didn't give him a second thought when he didn't, except when he played for England. He was probably thrown in at the deep end at City when he took the managers job, but at least he was given the opportunity. I'm sure there are plenty of ex City players out there who would have welcomed the opportunity. No-one knows exactly what went on and the words 'hatred' have been posted on here about his relationship with the Allams. That's up to him and him alone. Who are the ones who said they'd be back when the Allams are gone but are now not going because it's too expensive and cold? I strongly suspect that's not actually the case but you want to believe it for some reason, which like it or not, is a miserable way to be.
