rumours has it tonight tarrico the number 2 at brighton is trying finalise a deal for bwp ive heard brighton are willing pay over 1.5mil for him.Would fans if they were in charge of cafc sell him at that price if rumoured to be true?ideal replacement i go rhoades at huddersfield or ritchie at swindon
we should try and get Hasselbaink out of retirement as a replacement? and with the change get tony dorigo to provide backup at left back incase wiggins gets injured?
no be serious here this is worrying me brighton continue monitering bwp ,tarrico has been seen all week at sparrows lane so i think hes trying tap up bwp with a view to a move i just hope cp has suitable replacements lined up 1.5mil be hard board refuse me thinks
Thanks mate, think it went over JA's head. Was disappointed by the lack of reaction but you came to the rescue so thanks!
I gather Ponders took him to the training ground to look over Benson didn't any of the security people notice the gun Ponders had aimed at Tarrico's back? Alternatively Tarrico could have been there delivering the new 12" 'Meat Feast' pizza diet that Chris has put the first team on? I've seen the Domino's bike go into the training ground quite a lot over the last week
Fuuniest post in years, Tarrico at the training ground checking on Wright-Phillips? really? and you think the club would allow that do you? I hope its not catching.... the board know selling BWP would be a huge error, unless of course you have discovered a wonder kid in non -league.... Where do you get your rumours from? find your source and shoot em
Not sure where he gets his info, but its nobody at the club. BWP is happy at Charlton and the board are building for life in the Championship, not to sell our best players.
I could see someone coming in for him in January if they are looking to push into the playoffs/automatic promotion places (in the championship!), and perhaps the club will have to field a few inquiries however it would take a monster offer for us to consider letting him go and also he looks happy at the club and what we are trying to build so it would have to be someone who can offer him something we cant (and I don't see that being likely!). So my thoughts: perhaps a club or two will come looking but the door will firmly be closed in their faces!
it's a catch 22 situation, we would only let him go for very good money £2m+ but because of his knees nobody buying him could get insurance so in fact couldn't buy him, unless they are Man City and paying cash. quod erat demonstrandum (qed) - he's going nowhere!
That seemed to be the case, MT. He had a couple failed moves to championship clubs before us. I too think it was because of his knee that we offered a 18month contract with a year option for the club.
