This is why no one likes Leicester, your arrogant tw*ts. You act like you can get any player or manager you want because you have a bit of cash. You were self proclaimed champions before the season even started. And now you wonder why the rest of the league enjoys watching you crash and burn, made better by the amount of cash you spent (quite a bit of it on useless crap like Paul Konchesky).

Simon, in fairness, let's not forget that he played 229 games or so for Leicester over a 6 season period.

One never knows what goes on behind closed doors and how much more attractive the other job could be. Yes, for us Leeds fans the Leeds job is way better but he is the one that has to show up to work each week.

No...I'm a realist. Do I think we could get Ferguson from United, or any other Prem manager for that matter? No.

Do I think we could get a manager from a club that has limited reserves and shows little sign of leaving the Championship any time soon? Yes.

But as I said, Grayson is of no interest.

If the situation was reversed, and I remember a time when O'Neill nearly did join you from us when you had money, then I accept it. I wouldn't call fans of the other team arrogant because I couldn't deal with reality.

I don't think we will go for Grayson but if we did he wouldn't be out he question. Since he's been there you have lost Beckford, Schmeichel and Gradel when Grayson wold rather of kept them but you didn't make much money from them and as a result he hasn't been able to replace them properly

He could be frustrated there and think he might not be able to take Leeds any further with Bates there

In all seriousness though, I'd rather stay at Leeds in the Championship than go to Burnley in the prem, looking at certain relegation and then the sack six months later.

At Leicester, on the other hand, a quality manager would have the best prospects of the three clubs to spend a significant period of time in the top flight. He'd be supported by the board, would have a modern ground with excellent facilities.

It's a no-brainer really, and if you can't see that, then you need to take the blinkers off.

And Leicester show more signs of leaving the championship than Leeds? and your large "reserves" are doing you really well at the moment, aren't they. Fact of the matter is Leeds are 5th, Leicester are 13th. Simon Grayson is a lifelong Leeds fan, so why in God's name would he leaves Leeds for Leicester?

Wake up, you can't get any championship manager you want because their are many Championship clubs in a better state then Leicester and many managers wouldn't touch Leicester, especially with your trigger happy, controlling Thai owners. This is Nicky Maynard again, Leicester fans believe no championship player is untouchable from Leicester, City tell you to piss off, you claim the player isn't worth it and say you have got a better player anyway.

And O'Neil was a different situation. MON wasn't a lifelong Leicester fan and at that time Leeds were higher quality than Leicester, at this moment Leeds are still at a better place than Leicester, so it isn't arrogant to believe Grayson wouldn't leave Leeds.

Leicester are still in an excellent position to get promoted this season with a quality manager. Leeds are two points above us and will run out of steam, of that I'm certain.

It's not Maynard again, because we don't want Grayson! And frankly, I think the Maynard thing was a disaster for everyone involved. It may have led to Sven getting sacked and Bristol City going down, so Brizzles resistance backfired big time.

Trigger happy? This is the first manager they've sacked!

Yes, Leeds were in a better position than us when we had O'Neill. That's why we were winning trophies and you were winning diddily!

I think the Maynard saga has backfired on everyone apart from Tops wallet

Birmingham city won the league cup last year, dosen't mean they were better than Tottenham. You managed to quallify for the UEFA cup while we were qualifying for Champions League. A couple of years before we had been Champions of England and a couple of years after we were in the champions league semi finals vs Valencia. Are you seriously saying the Leicester of the late 1990s, early 2000s was better than the Leeds. You know the same one that was competing with and on many occasions beating the likes of Barcelona, AC milan, Lazio, Roma ect

Except we forced Schmeichel out, and replaced him more than properly with Lonergan, Pugh's doing a great job on the left and we clearly haven't missed Beckford. SG may have played for Leicester but he's a lifelong Leeds fan.

...but for all that, didn't win a thing.

We often finished above you in the League. For instance, from the top of my head, I seem to remember we finished 9th in '97 and you finished 13th.

Not arguimg Grayson isnt a lifelong Leeds fan. Bates pushed KS out after he seen the pound signs. If you lose a striker who can score 30 goals in a season of course you are going to miss him. As for Gradel he wanted to ho as he didnt like the direction your heading

It doesn't matter if Grayson is a Leeds fan! Money is all anyone in football is after these days. The sad truth I'm afraid.

Ok, so the exception proves the rule.

You cannot honestly say that on the whole Leicester has looked like it may achieve more success than Leeds United over the last 20 years. Granted I have paid more attention to Leeds over that period of time but I don't think I am mistaken on this.
