Just wondered how many of you go alone to away games and how many go with friends? Just curious really.

Been going to all the home and away games for quite a while. Always travelled on coaches run by the the same people and with the same bunch of supporters. Got to know all the regs at the away games and bump into a few of them at the home games.

I've only been to 6 and I went with mates on all 6 occasions. If there was a game that I wanted to go to and none of my mates could go I'd go by myself. However me and my mates are all in similar circumstances, we can't afford to get to too many away games.

How does everyone tend to travel train, coach or car? Does anyone know of any coach companies other than the backpage?

I go with mates to all of them. Travel varies, if it's Birmingham or north then car/hire a minibus. Any further south then it's train.

Coming up to 200 consecutive home and away games soon!

Usually go to games in the midlands with my brother and any others go with whichever mates or family are up for it.

I've had one or two flake out on me after I've bought tickets in the past, so what with that and this one ticket per member ****e I've mainly been going alone of late.

Seemed a bit of a sad idea at first but I take a book and some music and amuse myself. It makes spur of the moment trips a lot easier too: the day of the Forest game I hopped on a train, bought my ticket on the gate and lurched back through the front door half asleep at 2 am. Debating doing the same for Blackburn tomorrow, but I've got a five minute change at Bolton and if I miss that I'm up sh!t creek sans paddle.
